Skills USA is a national nonprofit organization that serves teachers and high school and college students who are preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations, including health occupations. It was formerly known as Vocational Industrial Clubs of America.

After presentations

April 15-16, local Skills USA winners were named in an awards ceremony last week.

The following are the 23 Skills USA winners from the Academy of Career Education high school, 10 of whom are gold winners and will continue on to compete in the 44th annual National SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills Conference, June 23-27 in Kansas City, Mo.
