Supply Drive
Glenn Duncan Elementary School receives more than $1,000 in school supplies last week.
School board candidate Scott Kelley hosted a supply drive for the school, at 1200 Montello St., on Sept. 25. Kelley said community members brought in more than $1,000 worth of supplies, with an added $500 from local businesses such as Greater Nevada Credit Union, Target, Miller Heiman and McDonald’s.
Glenn Duncan is an at-risk school within District E, the area Kelley is vying to represent on the school board.
