FBI investigates Reno bank robbery

A Bank of America office in northwest Reno was robbed Friday afternoon.

The bank at 4998 W. Seventh St. was robbed about noon after a man walked in demanding money, Reno police Sgt. Rick Ayala said.

(The teller) gave a nonspecified amount of money, and he fled the area,” Ayala said.

The robber was between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10 and wearing a long-sleeve shirt, green jacket and jeans.

Police are investigating the robbery with the FBI.
